Here are 5 Great Tips to Avoid Negative Thinking.

1. Start reading or listening to positive learning material on positive thinking on a daily basis. This will really help you start to make the switch to a more positive attitude.

2. Spend your time around family and friends that are positive and up beat and avoid too much time around others who are always having a bad attitude and complaining about everything.

3. Create a list of things that you really want to do in your life time. Then start making plans to actually do one or two of them.

4. Focus on what you really want in life and on the positive not on what you do not want. Even if some thing bad happens learn from the experience and try to look for the good in it.

5. If you do make mistakes in some way do not focus on the fact that you messed up focus on improving where you messed up and then go on.
